Amenities and Elegant Interiors Enhance GV's Modern Coastal Lifestyle

February 4 2022

As the harbinger of a new coastal lifestyle coming to Estero Island, Grandview at Bay Beach introduces architecture, amenities and interior design inspired by its surroundings – nearby beaches, the Gulf of Mexico and Estero Bay. Developed by London Bay Development Group and featuring interiors by Interior Design Associates, Grandview is already at the halfway point of construction and scheduled for completion spring 2023. Sales have been rapidly increasing, with staggering numbers such as $10 million in a 10-day period.

The first residential condominium built on the island in the last 10 years, Grandview will welcome guests with a statement-making two-story architectural art installation located in the lobby. Towering above a sitting area, the installation’s integrated lighting and mixed metals play with light, complementing natural sunlight from two-story windows and the glimmer of nickel and soft gold found in furnishings, accents and the railing of a floating glass staircase. It sets the stage for inviting social amenities and design imparted in soft, sandy tones of linen and white punctuated with electric cobalt blues, both calming and spirited like the sea.

“The interior design is a modern expression of coastal elegance,” said Jennifer Glass, president and principal of the Nashville-based design firm. “Details are clean lined and boldly expressed. Grandview was designed to be comfortably graceful and serve as an extension of each residence; the amenity spaces are well-appointed and well-designed, welcoming residents whether they’re wearing a cocktail dress or shorts and sandals.”

Grandview’s amenities blur indoor-and-outdoor boundaries with expansive windows and walls of sliding glass and are elevated to a higher floor, maximizing outdoor views of the mangrove-fringed bay and the connection to nature. Alfresco spaces include covered and open-air gathering areas with built-in seating, fire pits, a raised spa, an outdoor kitchen equipped with two grills, and inviting green spaces. Pergolas, palm trees and colorful landscaping echo the ambience of the building’s tropical location.

Interior amenities are located in The EL, offering a grand club room, fitness center, living room with a linear fireplace, kitchen and bar, and multiple destinations to socialize with neighbors or enjoy a quiet moment. Marble, decorative lighting and a collection of original artwork, limited prints and wall sculpture add to the feeling of a private luxury residence.

“We selected materials that are beautiful in their simplicity,” said Glass. “Marble floors and walls create interest while allowing art installations, lighting, patterned rugs and décor to shine. Residents will love the variety and design of the amenities. There are so many beautiful areas and an abundance of small and intimate conversation spots in addition to the large social gathering and outdoor living spaces.”

Grandview’s fitness center also focuses on the indoor-outdoor connection, with state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment positioned by windows and sliding glass doors opening to a sitting area under a pergola. There’s also a yoga studio with a mirrored wall, barre and cushioned flooring, and the convenience of men’s and women’s changing rooms.

Grandview offers a blocks-from-the-beach location, modern amenities and luxury condominiums with panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The building’s 58 residences feature open-concept floor plans spanning 2,400 to 2,900 square feet with three and four bedrooms and up to three-and-a-half bathrooms. Each home has private elevator access and dedicated parking in the main garage. Six exclusive top-floor penthouses feature 11-foot ceilings and a private two-car garage.

In these thoughtfully designed residences, a wide foyer leads to a living area that includes a great room with a breezy, screened covered terrace, an elegant dining area and a gourmet island kitchen with stainless-steel Bosch appliances. Select floor plans also feature spacious dens affording additional comfortable space for working or relaxing.

Each luxurious master suite features spacious walk-in closets, sitting areas that create the ideal spot to enjoy water views, and spa-worthy bathrooms boasting dual vanities and an oversized walk-in shower.

As the final building in Waterside at Bay Beach, Grandview residents also have access to the larger community’s activities and amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and spa, walking and jogging paths.

A fishing pier, beach access within walking distance and nearby marinas offer additional outdoor recreational opportunities, including sailboat, jet ski and powerboat rentals, biking, fishing charters and sunset cruises. Grandview’s prime location just two miles north of Lovers Key State Park, provides easy access to destinations along the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail, Lee County’s celebrated 190-mile kayak, paddleboard and canoe trail.

Grandview is minutes from the beaches of Fort Myers Beach and world-class shopping, dining, championship golf courses and the cultural experiences of Naples.

The last tower in Bay Beach awaits you.
