With amenities that rival any resort and a desired location mere blocks from Southwest Florida’s famed Gulf of Mexico beaches, London Bay’s Grandview at Bay Beach offers the carefree lifestyle of vacation… every day. Construction of amenities and the 11-story building are well underway with the recent completion of the fifth floor.
Grandview’s on-property amenities, known as “The EL,” are elevated to a higher floor, enhancing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle with destinations designed for social gatherings, fireside conversations or a relaxing plunge for two in the spa. Inside, walls of windows, elegant finishes and furnishings, and the sweep of a glass staircase echo the surroundings with swirls of blues and whites mimicking the ripples of the nearby Gulf of Mexico. Nestled within the fringes of palms and treetops, Grandview’s alfresco amenities enhance even the most ordinary day with extraordinary views of Estero Bay and colorful sunsets.
“Grandview and its amenities were designed to emphasize the connection to the outdoors and the water,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay, developer of the tower project. “Every home offers a balcony with views of the Gulf or the bay, often both, and the natural beauty of the mangrove islands dotting Estero Bay. The EL was created to deepen the connection with nature residents will experience every day.”
The EL’s outdoor amenities include a series of open-air and covered outdoor seating areas – from a large built-in banquette around a firepit and lounge chairs under a pergola to inviting sofas and a smaller fireside grouping in the center of the lawn. Grill masters will enjoy hosting a barbecue in the spacious alfresco kitchen, which offers two built-in grills, cabinetry for storage, a sink, large countertop and bar seating.
The EL also has an open-air raised spa and provides tables for cocktails, alfresco dining or a breezy card game. Colorful tropical landscaping and the play of light and shadow cast by several pergolas enhance Grandview’s alfresco spaces.
Entertaining and gathering with friends and neighbors influenced The EL’s large indoor club room, offering a living room poised to a fireplace, tables for cards or cocktails and stools cozied up to the bar. Windows showcase Grandview’s outdoor amenities. Sliding glass doors blur inside and outdoor boundaries.
The club room’s palette of pearlescent cream, cerulean blue and glints of gold and metal are inspired by Grandview’s proximity to its beach and water location. The finishes are introduced in the lobby, which offers an intimate seating group, a hewn-stone accent wall and the floating glass staircase.
Grandview also features a fitness center with state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment and an adjoining yoga studio with a mirror wall, barre and cushioned flooring for impact absorption. Men’s and women’s changing rooms, envisioned with sleek stainless-steel fixtures and finishes, along with shimmering wallcovering in soft blue, provided added convenience.
As the final building in Waterside at Bay Beach, Grandview residents enjoy the full complement of the larger community’s amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and spa, and walking and jogging paths adjacent to a private open space. A fishing pier, beach access within walking distance and nearby marinas offer additional recreational pursuits, including sailboat, jet ski and powerboat rentals, biking, fishing charters and sunset cruises. Grandview’s prime location just two miles north of Lovers Key State Park, provides quick access to serene destinations along the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail, Lee County’s celebrated 190-mile kayak, paddleboard and canoe trail.
Grandview is minutes from the beaches of Fort Myers Beach and world-class shopping, dining, championship golf courses and the cultural experiences of Naples.
