Sales at Grandview on Estero Island are rising as construction progresses to seventh floor

February 8 2022

Sales continue to gain momentum as construction of Grandview at Bay Beach reaches the seventh floor. Following a milestone $10 million in sales in just 10 days, homebuyers are recognizing the unique opportunity afforded by the 11-story waterfront building – luxury condominium residences, a sought-after location just blocks from the Gulf of Mexico and its famed beaches, and move in by spring 2023.

Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Development Group, which is building Grandview, expects interest to accelerate as Southwest Florida’s luxury real estate market enters its top homebuying months and inbound passenger counts at nearby Southwest Florida International Airport continue to set records. With New England digging out from one of the worst blizzards on record and snow and freezing temperatures now blanketing most of the country, buyers are making plans for future winters in warmer, sunnier climates.

“In the past, many condo buyers looking for new construction haven’t considered Estero Island since there hasn’t been a new tower built here in over 10 years,” said Wilson. “The island is a quintessential beach town with boundless opportunities to enjoy watersports, fishing, nature, the beaches and the Gulf of Mexico within walking distance. It’s lively yet causal, complemented by the luxury residences and amenities in Grandview for a truly unique lifestyle in Southwest Florida.”

London Bay accelerated Grandview’s construction schedule, starting in July 2021. Unlike most new tower projects, the company didn’t rely on presales, confident of the building’s desirability, premier location, luxury residences, and the unmet demand for new waterfront condominium residences, in short supply throughout Southwest Florida.

“We knew Grandview was well-positioned,” Wilson said. “We’re experiencing one of the best markets in our nearly 40 years in Southwest Florida. The supply of new tower residences is limited and Grandview fills that void. Within a month, construction has progressed from the fifth floor to the seventh and Grandview is becoming a reality in the mind of buyers who are now recognizing the very real prospect of moving into a new residence next year.”

Grandview offers a blocks-from-the-beach location, modern amenities and luxury condominium homes with panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The building’s 58 luxury residences feature open-concept floor plans spanning 2,400 to 2,900 square feet with three and four bedrooms and up to three-and-a-half bathrooms. Each home has private elevator access and dedicated parking in the main garage. Six exclusive top-floor penthouses feature 11-foot ceilings and a private two-car garage.

In these thoughtfully designed residences, a wide foyer leads to a living area that includes a great room with a breezy, screen covered terrace, an elegant dining area and a gourmet kitchen. Select floor plans also feature spacious dens affording additional comfortable space for working or relaxing.

Each spacious master suite features walk-in closets, sitting areas that create the ideal spot to enjoy water views, and spa-worthy bathrooms boasting dual vanities and oversized walk-in showers.

Grandview’s homes offer luxury details, including porcelain tile throughout living areas and bathrooms with fully tiled floors on all outdoor terraces as well as Kohler fixtures. Kitchens have Bosch stainless-steel appliances, natural stone countertops and an open island featuring cabinetry with self-closing drawers in a variety of finishes.

Grandview’s on-site amenities focus on wellness and a resort-inspired lifestyle. The fitness center is equipped with state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment and a yoga studio with a mirrored wall, barre, and cushioned flooring.

The EL, Grandview’s amenity hub, is elevated to a higher floor to maximize outdoor views of the mangrove-fringed bay and a connection to nature. A large indoor club room features a living room with a linear fireplace, tables for cards or cocktails, multiple seating areas, a kitchen and bar. Alfresco amenities include open-air and covered seating areas, firepits and an outdoor kitchen with two built-in grills and bar seating. A raised spa, vibrant landscaping and pergolas complement the welcoming outdoor ambience.

As the final building in Waterside at Bay Beach, Grandview residents also have access to the full complement of the larger community’s amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and spa, and walking and jogging paths.

A fishing pier, beach access and nearby marinas provide additional recreational pursuits, including sailboat, jet ski and powerboat rentals, biking, fishing charters and sunset cruises. Grandview’s prime location just two miles north of Lovers Key State Park provides easy access to destinations along the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail, Lee County’s celebrated 190-mile kayak, paddleboard and canoe trail.

Grandview is minutes from Fort Myers Beach and world-class shopping, dining, and championship golf courses that Naples has to offer.

Grandview residences start from the low $1 millions and offer a pet-friendly living environment with no weight restrictions.
